Rabbit Huntin' - SE Kansas - ca. 1910

By Rich I., Cripple Creek, Colorado

I always liked this picture of my great grandfather (left) and crew after a successful hunt in SE Kansas. They are not to be confused with the Dalton Gang in an earlier time and vicinity. My uncle on the right (and some of the others) could have used some trainin’ from Teller Rifles about gun safety. I had a cousin who actually shot his index finger off holding the gun with his finger over the muzzle. Looks like they also had some quail to help flavor the rabbit stew.

If you have photos of guns in your family, send them along with some narrative, and we'll be glad to share your heritage with info@teller-rifles.org.
