Open carry laws for the state of Colorado permit citizens to carry a visible firearm without formal certification (other than registering your firearm ownership with the state of Colorado). According to www.usconcealedcarry.com, "Open carry is legal in Colorado for any person who is at least 18 years old and who can legally possess a firearm, except in Denver county and other posted areas. ... ."

However, for the safety of everyone, Teller Rifles offers an Open Carry training that includes open carry safety protocols as well as in in-depth study of Colorado open carry laws. This training is highly recommended for beginners and also seasoned gun owners who want a refresher training.
