TR Weekly      A weekly update of all things Teller Rifles      October 25, 2023             www.teller-rifles.org           We Keep Growing! Teller Rifles was started in November of 2017 by three of us. When the Teller Rifles’ website went live twenty-one months ago, 238 people got our emails. Today? 578! In this same period of time 2,697 visitors from 34 countries have found us! Do You Know Someone Who’d Be a Good Rifle? Forward this to them and tell them to email us at teller-rifles@proton.me and ask to be added to our email list. This’ll make them a member. Tell them not to worry…it doesn’t cost anything to become a Rifle!      5th Annual Shoot-Fest After-Action Report 12 Rifles showed up at the Grainger Ranch for shooting and bar-be-que. Couldn’t have asked for better weather as it was shirt-sleeve warm and hardly a breeze. Half of the attendees were first-timers! All agreed that the shooting venue, thanks to Jeff G., was 1st Class. Even Bob T., who has perhaps the world’s loudest .243, agreed. Our usual hamburgers were supplement by chef Mark G.’s excellent kielbasas. Tom L.’s coleslaw was depleted quickly as were Cornelius N’s chicken enchiladas. Finally, it should be noted, Sheila S. (“I never win anything!”) won the door-prize Bowie knife.   A New Feature – The TR Book Review Our first book review is American Rifle – A Biography.  This is a not-to-miss history of the rifle up and to today. I first read this book in 2008 and reread it in 2012. It is very informative and the author has a gift for taking dry history and making it entertaining. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
