CCW Class A Big "Hit" Saturday at The Elks Lodge in Victor, CO!
Next class is Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 am
Safety is the theme of the day with emphasis placed on using a firearm for self-defense as a tool of LAST RESORT. According to instructors Bob and Randy, "The best way to win an argument is to avoid it in the first place." On the other hand, if an assailant is posing threat of immediate danger or bodily harm, the instructors advised us "do not submit!"

If you have not taken this course, Teller Rifles highly recommends it. TR will post the next CCW course when dates and times are confirmed.

Teller Rifles, in conjunction with Cripple Creek Parks and Recreation and Victor Elks Lodge, offers a Concealed Carry Training & Certification.

- The Golden Rules for Gun Safety
- Protecting Sight and Sound (when firing)
- Types of Firearms
- Parts of a Handgun
- Criteria for Selection of a Handgun
- Ammunition Facts
- Shooting Fundamentals - Positions, Grip, Aiming, Sight Alignment, Breath Control, Hold Control, Trigger Control, Follow-Through and Firing the Shot
The main message of the day was (and always will be) SAFETY FIRST:
- Always keep a gun pointed in a safe direction.
- Always keep the action open.
- Always keep your finger off the trigger.
